p99 being free definitely has something to do with people playing on it (though I will happily donate to the cause), but the fact that live is full of asstons of rediculousness is what got me interested in p99. Can't make a friend because your 80 and still living in your parents basement? Get a merc! Something about that just kills the game for me. Plus, there is such a thing as too many bells and whistles.

Funny...because I'd play if it was pay to play here, I've donated to P99...and I quit live precisely because it was garbage and that was in 2006.

Ew... just because regular EQ is now free to play doesn't mean that they didn't still ruin the game... and this is coming from someone who only gave up on live about a year ago. Other than AAs, I miss almost nothing from the live servers.

In short:
Live servers? Fuck that.

If Fippy was accessible to silver players I would actually bother with it, since Bertoxx is basically just dead it seems.
