I've never played on a red server before so I have no idea what it is all about but to say I'll never give it a shot is nuts. Everyone is going to at least have a "goof off/check it out" character over there. The only thing I'm worried about is the limited time I have for eq these days. I don't know how a super casual player fits into a pvp server. I suppose all that will be answered once it comes out tho.

The worst thing would be not to get the r99 server. You pvper guys will have tons more fun on a red server and fun is the point.

I will be doing probably both. Red sounds like a ton fun tho. PVP makes things really interesting. Very Excited over the matter.

Who gives a fuck if you get loot or not from killing someone... Taking their camp, killing them, chasing them off with their tails tucked between their legs is > getting some stupid item or coin.

With having the whole extra dynamic/option of PVP, why would anyone settle for just a plain old blue server?

I never realized what I was missing until I tried out SZ with a friend. After that I will never play an MMO that doesn't have PVP (I put up with p99 only because it was the only option).
