IIRC Whisperwing handed over shrine keys initially, to avoid a bottleneck and resulting disputes/petitions.

Game's also free, with unlimited accounts, instead of $9.89/mo.

That rotating 10 hour window was impossible to keep up with in my experience. This and Spirit Wracked made these servers uniquely awful to play on.

Sometimes you can just skip the hassle and settle for second best in slot.

Well yeah - if you win the roll and you can gather your own force - who cares what level... But that's not how scout has typically worked on Green. Typically it's a rag-tag group of level 55-60s that can barely handle the kill as is.

So whats your take on draft weeks and bag limits?

Unclassic of course.

But the difference is, they're an unclassic solution to an unclassic problem (we've got a much more top-heavy and active-raider server than live ever had). Scout is just needlessly unclassic server self-own.

Especially if we're talking about bringing a level 46 who doesn't bring a small group to kill captain.

What a terrible rule. Either 55+ and everyone stays to help - or no level restriction on the roll and you are on your own killing the Captain.

It's a bad class that doesn't benefit from AC gains. A well-geared 39 rogue would probably do as well.

One of the best lessons everquest teaches is the need of other people. It doesn't matter how powerful you are individually, you will never be as powerful as a group of friends working together. The greed of pixels ultimately drives you to the correct choice.
