What's the channeling issue again? Too little interrupts on p99?

PQ got told no resets/new servers as part of the agreement with Daybreak... if that's any indicator.

Difficult to say when the p99-team don't communicate with us. Could be that Green was an exception and since then no no fresh server has been greenlit by Daybreak.

If Daybreak doesn't allow fresh/rotating private servers (which I think makes sense) but allows for QoL tweaks like permanent legacy item drops on Quarm then I think there could be an argument for implementing something similar on Green. Perhaps opening up legacy camp and respawning warders on a cycling original timeline schedule.

But yeah, it's anyone's guess.

This whole thing is turning into a George R. R. Martin is never going to write the Winds of Winter kind of thing.

The P99 agreement allows new servers as long as they don't go past Velious and, presumably, as long as they don't do crazy stuff like PQ and THJ.

Was that agreement in perpetuity, forever? I doubt it - it more than likely had a time frame on it - and it could quite possibly be the case that the agreement is reaching the end of its terms.

I have a feeling that a new p99 server would not please the current Daybreak team - as they are struggling with TLPs. Fresh p99 server would rob Daybreak of potentially thousands of subscriptions, in their minds.

They hate it so much that they agreed to officially recognize another emulator.

We dont need a new server, we just need to wipe this one and start over fresh. Green has gotten quite stale.

The Quarm agreement is pretty trash, so I hope P99's is better.

If DBG had any brains they'd just buy P99 and actually run it as a 4 year recycle server.
