Aliens exist but are too far away and their civilizations die out over millions of years before they can cross the vastness of space

We are most likely alone, and by the time the next alien race exists, humans will have been gone for millions if not billions of years

Not with warp drive

Warp drive is silly...

time travel not so bad...

transporters less so.... more like dune tho where u just disapear/reapear and simultaneously inhabit another space entirelly..

also artificial bodies less so.

This guy is an unidentified anomalous phenomenon... what the fuck is wrong with his face? He looks like a Romulan spy

Anyway, video for anyone curious. Can't really believe this was a conversation that occurred in Congress. Commander Fravor is totally nonchalant in acknowledging, now, that not only is the military frequently seeing these things, but they are frequently disabling our technology. At least, so he says.

If Trumpism was a CIA plot to aggregate and tag all the neo-fascists and/or gullible idiots in the country, this UFO stuff is all about tagging people who can't do probabilities.

Here is the truth. Congress feels the military is up to stuff that it wants to know about. That. Is. It.

As an avid eq player, I have a remarkable distaste for fantasy in RL. The odds of *any* extraterrestrial object crossing our paths, during the entire life of our solar system (billions of years), are only slightly better than expecting a monkey to fly out my butt.

This alien shit might be a rare moment of agreement for most people on this forum in that it's clearly retarded. It's a healthy reminder that dumb gullible people can ascend to the highest levels of power or ranks in the military. Or, they know it's bullshit and they're trying to sell it anyway, which means they assume you are dumb and gullible. In either case, there's no god damn aliens. There probably are somewhere else in the universe, but not here.

Get back to me when you have a god damn picture or video that isn't conveniently grainy and distorted as hell.

Mostly agree, but consider this for fun: How would one calculate those odds? We don't even know the conditions because we don't truly understand the universe yet. If intelligent life happened even just 500 million years before Jesus, and they survived, their shit could be all over the galaxy, and potentially nearby galaxies.

What are the odds that existence popped out of nothing 13.8 billion years ago, with all the mathematical constants and properties of energy and matter just right for stellar nucleosynthesis to be possible, so that billions of years later a bunch of monkeys could figure it all out? Probably slightly better than expecting a monkey to fly out of my butt. If we popped out of the universe's ass, then monkeys/aliens can pop out of our ass.

I don't see any evidence aliens have visited Earth, but I don't buy the assertion that it has to be near impossible, either. An exponentiating, inorganic Von Neumann that started 500 million years ago, and doesn't travel faster than light, could have been monitoring every star system in the galaxy 400 million years ago.

Atlantis is far more likely than extraterrestrials.

space is too fucking big, we sent out a "hello" message in 1974 from Arecibo radio telescope toward the constellation of Hercules and it's gone 0.2% of the distance of the 25,000 light years needed to reach it.

You'd have to short beam this at exactly at the space(time) coordinates you expected Hercules to be in 25,000 years to have a chance at beating attenuation.

Jewish Space Lasers.
