The only system so far that I have seen that hasn't lead to the collapse of every competitive raiding entity after 6 months.

The fact is bags keep competition alive. Rooted dragons are way more fun because having a player get BIS without ever leaving the entrance of tov is dumb. Everyone gets to see the zone now and its far more blood pumping when the ntov competition is happening. When bags were moved to 1/4 it made less competition, because sure the 2nd raid entity is going to show up in force when they have some uncontested mobs to kill.

The real reason the top guild doesn't like this is because they can't lord over every pixel as every previous top guild has been able to do in server history by this point in the meta timeline. People have been saying it for years and quakes solve everything. Quakes are competition. The rest is just staring at walls the hardest.

Also, since its first in force for kael we should be using coth, because now its just a more obfuscated race that can still be cheated on.

can you name one instance in unrooted era where only one guild killed vulak for a month in a row when another eligible raid force wasn't just straight up raid banned (like awakaned)

this new system is clearly so fucked that in order to not have guilds lord over vulak kills GMs needed to step in and come up with an arbitrary system to gift vulak to the #2 guild for free

read: I have to give up the next vulak because of bag limits and instead of seeing that this actually fosters competition during quakes, I blame rooted dragons instead of realizing that a coinflip coth race where people get best in slot gear without ever leaving the entrance leads to the worst type of toxicity this server has ever seen, because in that meta only the pullers matter, and they shit on everyone else. The game is harder and better actually going *into* the dungeon.

Keep em rooted if you want. A little dungeon crawl never hurt anyone. But maybe they could give us lockouts back? There are normal people that would appreciate an opportunity to enjoy this content in lower (as intended) raid force numbers. Warm body zerging has gone on long enough.

I think one improvement would be to lengthen the respawn time of trash mobs in ntov to 8 hours like planes so it would actually make more sense to clear than just train stuff around

It's easy to write off vulak as not competitive, but the fact is every quake has been competitive, because it's not just about vulak. The 2nd tier entity goes for Takish, because plane of growth is one of the top tier competitive mobs on the server today.

Let me make it more clear. The four most important mobs on the server:

KT, Vulak, Doze, and Takish (tunare):

1. KT is first and it can go either way.
2. Next is Doze, because Vulak has blocking mobs that must be killed first.
3. The raid entity going for Vulak essentially gets a bonus Doze, because of the blocking mbos for vulak.
4. The competition on the server is going for the next most competitive raid target - Takish so they can kill Tunare.
5. Because of the NToV mobs that must be killed and the amount of time it takes to kill these and do Vulak, the next competitive guild is going to go for every other target outside of the mobs involved with shortening the time it takes the top tier entity to kill Vulak.
6. Competition thrives.

All while the top guild proclaims themselves without competition, because they realize they are getting a fraction of the total "game wide" pixels available, when competition actually exists. News flash, every meta ends without competition, and this is the only meta that has gotten this far with the above still occuring, and its 100% because of the bagged mobs that make the above 6 steps not have to happen every single week by changing up the competitive approach outlined above. If KT was added to a bagged list you'd see even more variance. (fun)
