Why not just make a discord server?

or use the green channel on the p99 discord... like most people are doign

You guys are asking the devs to do something that requires work, when they are crunched with tons of real problems to solve for the real server that you want to play on next week. Seems pretty stupid.

It already exists on red so might not be any major work actually.

It confirmed takes zero seconds to allow global channels we had to go out of our way (as a community) to disable global chat channels.

That said I definitely don't care about this. Beta almost over and forums are a great global OOC channel.

Most of you are missing the point entirely. I don’t go on P99 discord and I’m absolutely certain a lot of other people don’t ether. If Bob the random player wants to get on and test and isn’t someone who frequents the forums or uses the discord he’s quickly going to be like “oh hey the book meditate isn’t in this should be reported”. That’s exactly what happened and why there was doZens of reports on it in the bug forum.

If bob had been able to be like /ooc hey guys meditate is broken!, the rest of Yu could have simply told him that and he could go on to do more meaningful testing



Legit don’t understand why so many people seem to be unable to think about things that are obvious

having spent the last day in the green discord channel, i am noticing a lot of people that aren't actually playing

nothing wrong with that, but global ooc for beta, ie a chat that directly connects the testers with other testers in real time so we can group, discuss, port around and do things, would be better for bug discussion than the discord or this forum is

is there a general p99 channel on discord? Thought it was only guild channels in there.

I can't feel immersed if it's not in green text in my game window.

Outside of the popular zones, there is rarely any green text in our windows in this game. You should be used to it by now.

Really what it comes down to is that i dont want to tab to my discord window, taking me out of the game and interrupting my play experience.

Really though, it doesn't matter. Beta isnt gonna be around much longer anyway.
