And then again, I would tend to agree with you, but then why is it important to be called a woman when "being a woman" is just a social construct. Why can't you be a biological male and fulfil any social role you wish without contradicting biological evidences of what gender you were born in?

How can gender be so important based on how pointless it is? I'm always confused at this argument.

(PS; don't overread between the lines, if it's all black or white I am more of a libtard like you than a white cisgender male conservative redneck - I'm legit asking)

(Edit: also, nice dick @OP lol. As a european/japanese I was shocked to see it removed :( )

That poster is full of very fucked up thinking. We need to provide free educational seminars for these people at some point in the future. For those that get out of all the free college were going to give them.

What would you consider valid of the notion that the writer for the screenplay of Seven was commenting on the contemporary art scene as disolving into obscenity, shock, lewdnes, degredation? I'm not considering censorship from a government entity as valid.

By gender I mean male & female, the two things that can reproduce. If we take other mammals, there are males (usually born with a dick) and females (usually can get pregnant, produce milk). Outside of infertility, this is usually how it works in the mammal kingdom.

And then you have the societal role we attribute to the gender. And this is where I agree that we are smart enough to have a little fun here. We've come to a point where that base gender could mean close to absolutely nothing. I am myself a man wearing make up, often with fluo pink hair and a fashion sense that can be described as feminine; but I never felt that my "maleness" meant anything and/or forced me to do or stop anything...

This is the point where I can't support that movement. I agree with all the symptoms and conclusions, but I don't understand how "changing gender" or pronoun, making up crazy spectrum etc. can be part of the solution process at all.

As you say yourself, we're an intelligent species. We should not require that crutch. We can assume our dickness or non-dickness without it bearing ANY further meaning. It's barely a mean of reproduction (that sometimes doesn't even work).

80s/90s were much less violent than the 60s/70s so 'free love' didn't really help anything.

We literally had a president of the United States assassinated because of a war we were waging in Vietnam that slaughtered an estimated 1,353,000 human beings

:D Oh the irony of someone who, only a few decades ago, would have been looked down on by everyone in society (and even today is still being looked down on by many) for being different and something they can't comprehend ...

... who is looking down on transgender people for being different and something they can't comprehend.

that's what the image is saying. act as fruity or tomboy as you like - it's not something you need medical help to make it ok.

its the third way.

Well I'm always wrong on every transgender discussion here.

It would be idealistic if we as humans could reach a point of progression where we didn't need technical explanations, graphic charts and/or seminars to accept people for who and what they are.

Why is it difficult for people to just simply accept others who are different than themselves? As long as a person is harming no one, they ought to be able to dress and wear whatever the fuck they want.

It also shouldn't matter what is between their legs unless you have an interest in them sexually and have a certain preference of your own.

Humans are as basic and barbaric as the chimps they study in regards to their social habits and how they treat one another.

Just like chimps, humans raid each others villages, just like chimps humans rape and pillage, really the difference between chimps is quite small from a cognitive stand point.

I read a book about human violence a long time ago, and one of the main narratives in the book was the comparison between humans and chimps. The book also touched on bonobos and their docility too.

I was really amazed how chimp behavior was so close to that of humans, though.

I honestly think a lot of people need things to hate because it gives them a sense of belonging to others who share that hatred. More people find it easier to hate than to love. It's far easier to point fingers at that feminine guy and hate him because he's not "normal" than it is to simply accept him as a person worthy of living a happy life just as anyone else.

You can break this discussion down into very technical and complex details but I don't think it's that complicated.
