Both are real. The BP really dropped, and alas, the song is real too. It received waaay too much airtime in the 80's - 8675309/Jenny

Though if we're talking about LIVE, now...my cleric's got a Vicious Rabbit from the loyalist vendor (Monty Python reference), and a majority of the Banestrike achievements are silly puns and jokes (EX: if you kill 100 Coldain, the achievement is called Dainy It's Cold Outside).

There is a banker in FV named Wella Fargin, which I think is a reference to Wells Fargo bank.

Man, the music references in EQ are amazing.

From http://web.archive.org/web/200202030...sterquest.htm:

Spoolie Gee is a tailoring merchant in North Ro. It's also a reference to a Beastie Boy's track, 'What'cha Want' on the "Check Your Head" CD. (Spoolie Gee says, "Yo yo yo, homies! What'cha Want? I got da patterns you need!")

From Allakhazam:

Incidentally: "Nottap Ekim" is an Easter Egg: Reversed, is "Mike Patton" who had a song called "The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny". Sirran the Lunatic shouts "What?! Now you've done it! The bunnies are angry! ANGRY I TELL YOU!"

Cool find! I didnt know about this at all.

Used to be a bigtime FNM/Bungle fan during the 90's, also seen Patton live several times over the years, FNM reunion, Tomahawk, Italian songs etc

Bankers in FV. Their names play off Wells Fargo I believe.
