There was less competition for stuff outside ToV when A/A was holed up in there taking during the week though. First thing I saw when Windows got normalized was 20 aftermath at sebilis zoneline for trak before he spawned.

These guilds will never stop raiding. If something isn't in window, they'll kill less important targets. More resources to spend on tracking fear golems, hate clears, HoT, trak, vs. Targets that were generally not worth the effort when everyone was brain dead from staring at the door.

I once invited a fellow TMO member over to play some boardgames with some friends while trak was in window. During the game he was complaining constantly about how he never missed a Trak and usually wouldn't come out when it was in window. (trak was always in window)

Halfway through the game I excused myself to the bathroom and logged into the TMO batphone and sent just him a batphone saying "TRAK TRAK TRAK" he got the text and almost broke into tears.

Also, if people enjoy playing on the server I don't consider it wasting time. Hobbies are harmless fun as long as they don't wreck your career and social life. I agree entirely, if you enjoy it, please play. It's just sad that a very small minority of people that enjoy butt fucking each other for up to 16 hours to race for the "rights" to a mob can hold the rest of a server of friendly old fucks that just want a place to, in their limited free time, enjoy some content from a game they played back in '99.

This message goes to all that participate in this insanity referred to as a "raid scene". To all those who have the need to dick measure each other over the Internet to feel, for even just the smallest fraction of time, important. To all those that line up at a "starting line" on a "classic" server and think you are your guild's rock stars, when all you are is taken advantage of while your life fades to black from alcoholism and sleep depravation.

If only there was a server where competition was the point and it was starving for more competitive players, then the ones making things arbitrarily competitive could go play there and be happy and everyone who just wants a classic raid can be happy. Think of all the hours you "hard core" raiders could save on petitions and tracking and pathetic Skype arguments!

If you spent half the time raiding as you do complaining on R&F...
