Ogre 100% the min max, frontal stun immunity is supposed to let you stand with your back to a corner and transcend the interwebs

I say pick troll; the extra regen lowers down time and stacks with other regen abilities. you can get the fire resist later on with armor to make up for it. trolls can also use more armor options than iksars!

If you can afford torpor Ogre is the best shaman. Frontal stun immunity makes it much easier to face tank stuff when root breaks or soloing a mob that summons. Yes troll and iksar regen are nice but at the end of the day once you are max lvl with torpor is doesn't matter.

that is fine. they need as much wis as possible

Troll beats out iksar for better starting stats, slam, jaundiced armor ... and lets be honest ... trolls are just sexy.

I love my troll, picked up a slime coated harpoon, and cracked darkwood shield. Been just melee'ing for the last 5 levels. With the buffs from EC tunnel it's been almost no downtime.
