I am going through the deity quests to make sure there aren't npcs or items that drop before their intended time.

There is not a lot of data about when these were independently introduced, so I am considering having them (ones introduced pre velious) available ~Apr2000 with the introduction of Kunark.

Just updating this thread to add that it looks like deity quests, at least in Paineel, were in from the start; however, they were rewarding raw-hide and ring mail armor until the symbols were added in April.

So the ringmail bug was intentional but meant to be temporary.
