60 mage over my 60 rogue by far. Even though Inny has never shown up carrying the all important staff, even an epicless mage is tons of fun. Especially when you sit under the raid mob and summon random players to freak them out. So many CH cycles ruined in the interest of trolling magicians.

Probably ogre :( I have seen the light... its not because they are more powerful.. its because I can say I am more powerful and make barbs resent me for it.

Lol

I like all my toons, would probably just walk away if forced to abandon all but one.

I would have to hang onto my druid, he's the only one I still play from time to time and thats just to do drive-by buffs on lowbies, port people and not accept donations, just be all around helpful really. Even though he has been lvl 51 for about four years and will undoubtedly still be 51 in the next four. He's my favorite, chirp out.

The character that goes by this name. My enchanter. I really like playing one, and keeping a cc'd so that the other classes can do their job is, for me, hella fun.

What's very true is, however, I only kick ass at my job if the other classes are also kicking ass: if the pullers are bringing the house, but not too much, the cleric is on top of their game, the tank knows how to keep all the dps on target, and so forth.

People often complain about the "holy trinity" of chanter/cleric/tank formula, but the fact is, the game (up until Velious.... grrr) worked that way, and there is nothing like a classic exp grp setup, and myself, I love being the enchanter :)

edit: Some may know, I "froze" Sadre in carbonite at lvl 58 until Velious, cuz during original, I hit 60 early in Kunark (second enchanter to 60 on Quellious ~fingertwirl~) so I never exp'd during velious, just raided. I wanted to save some exp grinding for Velious. I personally suspected Velious was going to arrive sometime during the Jenna Bush administration. Looks like I'm going to have to dust Sadre off earlier than I thought. Back to work, slacker!

If I had all the time I wanted to play, I'd go with a pally. I enjoy tanking more than anything in groups. The control a skilled paladin brings to a group can make for very exciting gameplay.

a good paladin = best tank. sorry sk's and warriors. but a skilled paladin owns a good camp

I just wish I was a LOT better playing my Enchanter or that would be my top choice. I am just to old to do all the things needed at once anymore, Charmed pet and all, that takes a lot of thought and hand skill. :( Too many Beers in my life I guess. And too many Senior Moments lol.

Druid.

Never have to waste someone else's time looking for a port, nor do I need to Blame anyone else for my lack of heals. Able to do most quests that are needed. Druids are a good utility class in a small group/raid, which is generally the most fun you can have in EQ IMO. A 6 man group is boring. A 3-4 man with a druid is fantastic.
