why would you play a server with less pop and no stability?

Because this server is just way more fun then r99.
And the population could increase if you guys try it out

boxing, insta 50s ect. why not just play live?

its limited to dual boxing, it saves time for portbot etc etc.
Instant 50 is great because lets face it you dont want to do the level grind once again, this is a pvp server you want to log on and pvp not farm leveling zone for hours and hours when noone is in your level range.

On this server you can win without playing 12hrs a day. Thats the main reason we play there

Even though you progress quickly I wouldn't join unless you had a group with at least 4-5 people putting in 30+ hours a week. If you log in for 10-20 hours a week you will end up just getting farmed by a couple groups that play 24/7, especially since maps show your location.

If you are a hardcore player with a few friends that also have high play times it could be a fun server. You basically gotta be able to log in and raid every time you are on so you have to have a group that can have 4-5 people on at any given time.

The pros are that you don't need a large group to down content because charm is so overpowered. This is a great server if you want to see your chars decked out in pixels doing extreme amounts of damage. If you like classic everquest you will hate it.

I had some free time, Gave it a shot. Made a wizard seeing as they can kill without much gear, The run from neriak wasn't too bad to get the 50/skills. But it gave me 50 plat, and yes spells are cheap however upon buying a couple I realized the rest were in erudin. KOS as fuk insta death.

Would be fun to play a few chars there exp was nice made it to 5 just running through nek but I don't see how a iksar monk is going to make it to EC tunnel, or any of the classes I wanted to play. Gave halfling druid a shot since it too was closest to EC died in kith on the run along the wall.

Seems like it could be a really fun server, But just getting to EC on some toons is a hassle even if it is for insta 1-50. should be 100 plat at least also if your gonna give some spell money(spell prices are reduced, but just getting gate/bind/see invis/shielding etc spells alone was like 15pp)

Don't remember my old accounts I had messed around on either so the no manastone vet thing even though I didn't actually play is kind of a turn off too but meh

The argument that since you can level faster and kill with less people makes it casual is bullshit because it is still a competitive game. It still comes down to what crew can kill the dumbed down content the most times. Just because the PvE aspect is easier doesn't make it casual. You still need to farm Kunark/Velious enough times to gear 4 chars on that server.

Once you do finally get all the stuff you want people get bored and quit anyways, then the server wipes. You look back and realize all you did was PvE.

I doubt there are many casuals on that server enjoying any PvP. It will mostly just be people that are putting in 8 hours a day wiping people with Primal weapons as they take over spots to do more PvE.
