Pretty much this. This entire project has been a perpetual beta test anyway.

Will this period be Velious only, or will the Beta server have all of Everquest available? My high elf paladin could use some time in Hate to collect the piece for ND, which has been unavailable until now.

I'm hoping the Devs give us a goal on what they would like tested this weekend. I personally raid beta 1 or 2 times per week and I feel as though the raiding aspect of things is outpacing the fixing of the bugs and pathing etc.

For objectives such as testing quest turn ins, there isnt much we can do. In any given raid, there's only a few quest pieces that drop (especially when trash doesnt need to be killed). If you want quest items tested, I'd suggest upping the drop rate 1000% on mobs dropping armor, gem quests, on beta only.

For purely dragon boss testing, you could get rid of trash mobs (or significantly nerf them temporarily) to avoid the hours and hours it takes to clear to some of the mobs.

A lot of Beta just isnt beatable in Kunark gear+Low beta numbers that guilds are pulling. Maybe offer a Velious geared buff bot to give a better shot at the end content.

Those are just some ideas off top of my head that might speed up the process of testing.
