Plugging is part of pvp always will be sadly. It sucks but whatever.

Asherons call you dont have plugging. Its full open world sand box. With dungeons u zone into but if u plug it ur char ends up on the other side sitting there for a min or two

I never played Asheron's Call PVP that game confused me greatly because it didn't have dark elf assless chaps.
