I talk about EQ to my work buddies and friends ALL the time. Pretty sure they just let it go in one ear and out the other. =P Especially the ones that still play WoW. They just can't wrap their head around the world that is EverQuest.

Ya that sums it.
But ya. If your not talking about "the Holy Trinity," Money - Sex - Power, Then most folks don't care.
Thank God for EQ buddies. We'll all in the same barrow, full of nuts :)

my friends play more games than i do and wonder how i can play eq, so we discuss it some i guess.

I learned, after seeing too many eyes glaze over, to not mention it ever.

Not a soul knows, minus the wife. They wouldn't understand

This for the most part. They know I play games, but don't really know WHAT I play.

Plus they are all console gamers who play/buy Call of Duty every year (/shiver). So I don't bother trying to explain to them about anything exciting that may have happened to me in any type of MMO.
