There's even a sign in Erudin that says Velious. It was obvious that Erudin was intended to be the place for travel to Velious from beta given the textures, one can only assume they changed it to Nro because it was more easily accessible.

it's a little raft like the one in oasis. it takes you to a little island where you have to board the Icebreaker which is a big nome paddle steamer. that takes you to the nome camp on the north eastern island in iceclad ocean

when you arrive, make sure you hop over 2 islands to the south west where there is a circle wall (known as dragon circle) in the centre of that is a dragon tooth.

in order to port to Iceclad you will need to have that tooth on you. wiz and druid both port to the same location

There are multiple teeth. you only need to carry the latest tooth to be able to port to all the previous circles. order is

Iceclad > Great Divide > Wakening Lands > Cobalt Scar

You need to hold a dragon tooth to teleport to Velious? This game is totally unrealistic.
