This server isn't shit because of the end game.

It's shit because new people have nowhere to group, and no people to group with. FFA is garbage, and the only reason this thread seems pro FFA is most people have already left.

This is a ghost town box except for the high end scene of hardcores that were willing to dedicate a minimum of 15+ days into their toons. That's a real low ball number by the way, and I'd be disgusted to see the real no lifers playtimes.

This box pure and simple isn't fun. The only fun of this box is attempting to make the other side rage enough to quit the game - and I just don't see that appealing to a broad audience, ever, and basically only assholes like me or worse enjoy doing it.

Teams creates another dynamic of safety and teamwork. Casuals have their place, lowbie have their place, and hardcores can still do hardcore things. FFA's there's only room for hardcores - the rest die off. I've seen it so many times before on other EMU'S and the only reason Rallos was successful was because of hardcore player enforced anti PKing.

I have seen FFA play out over and over, always the same - except Nihilum doesn't get bored, and Nizzar is life dedicated, making it even more stagnant. At least normal people take breaks and have real lives.

TLDR = this box is shit, if you say you have fun on here, it's probably because you griefed someone - teams in my personal opinion appeals to more people, and creates a safety net for bluebies who enjoy some pvp to be able to join.

I have fun even though i've chosen to play this game on difficulty hard once more, like a true white knight, working my way up slowly wearing nothing but rags.

I love the people that claim teams is blue. So much fucking irony in that statement coming from dudes who play on the bluest "pvp" server ever.

being restricted to who you can attack is logically more blue than red

Also making a teams server in a community where there already are 2 teams isn't gonna change anything.

Sure teams would have been cool when none of us really knew eachother but right now nihilum would roll with nihilum and the rest would roll with the rest, so it would essentially become the exact same thing with different color codes for the names.

I'm not to excited for the "teams" i'd just be excited to have a fresh server where the opposing force didn't get to farm the server uncontested for 6 months..
