I don't think this video ignores the value of teaching men not to rape. It advocates women having some common sense so they can minimize their own risk of ever becoming a victim. Obviously, bad shit can happen no matter what but it is possible to have some control over what happens to you. That, in itself, can reduce the number of victims.
No one ever deserves to be raped, by the way, but if you seriously think you have no control at all you will eventually become a victim to someone evil who would be happy to exploit your stupidity and naivete. |
