To be honest the only items they'd farm for are illusion items, which have basically no benefit aside from looking cool. Think of how it will get rid of a lot of high level alts in certain guilds and actually level out the playing field momentarily in the raid scene. We've been stuck in Kunark for quite some time now, maybe it isn't such a bad thing to find a way to sync things out a bit. They focused a lot on getting rid of economy problems by setting up money holes like the casino in Luclin. PoP also did a bit of work on helping things itself, but we won't be getting it here.

I feel it will help the server survive a little longer than what it may or may not in the future.

Having a GM event where people trade in accounts for illusion masks is way more classic than variance or three years of Kunark. Even Elethia isn't complaining.

95% of the people who bitch about classic in server chat are just trolls. People that actually care post in the bug forums.

or just wipe it clean. less work to hit the delete button. I guarantee the first few months the server would push 1500-2k people. Restart as a classic timeline without all the hax and bloated economy and buys more time to release Velious.
