All my life, the people wanted climate change action but the goverment was dubious.

Now it's the goverment that wants it and the people are dubious.

Very strange.

lol

Americans making less than $75,000 will be subject to 710,863 additional audits, according to the analysis. Overall, the IRS would conduct more than 1.2 million more annual audits of Americans' tax returns, according to the analysis. Another 236,685 of the estimated additional audits would target individuals with an annual income between $75,000 and $200,000.

"No one is above the law." (except hutner biden)

BTW they are not changing the tax code that allowed Donald trump to write of 70 thousand dollar haircuts.

But they will audit you if you make less than that in a year!

Yikes

making your own food is dangerous for everyone

Backyard hens’ eggs contain 40 times more lead on average than shop eggs, research finds

so you need to eat bugs.

i saw someone saying that backyard eggs are fine unless you're in a high traffic city center, exurbs and low density areas should be okay

i'd have chickens if i ever get out from under my stupid HOA. one day, one day. i want chickens.

Yeah if it is indeed from ledded oil that was outlawed 20 years ago, that would definitly be teh case.

Also it says that industrial pollution causes it, so that's going to be all over the farmland areas. But I'd be more curious about what industrial chemicals are getting pumped into our air that is making the fucking ground beneath our feet poisonous.

I mean, this came out the other day Rainwater everywhere on Earth unsafe to drink due to ‘forever chemicals’, study finds

We've done so much industrial farming, that now it's the only type of farming we can do.

Either that or it's a giant conspiracy to get us to eat bugs instead.

I guess it stands to reason that the poisonous chemicals would also work their way into the bugs we'd hypothetically eat, too

They aren't my favorite but I have eaten some bugs. If someone eats meat excessively often they are accelerating the bug-eating
