LOL that's just evil then if an Enchanter is walking around charming and casting see invis. That's as bad as the cliff golems with swords.

To answer alot of questions that appear more or less the same:

When I de-hide and re-hide, the same NPC that just saw thru my stealth a minute ago doesnt. And yes I got a macro with a pause in between for the two skills, sneak and hide. And no it doesnt make any diffrence if I press them manually, or with my macro.
And the "bug" or whatever it is isnt Sebilis only, its about everywhere. I just encountered it mostly in Sebilis because thats where i'm exping.

And I put the "BROKEN" in the title in capitols because I can! :D:D:D

Bump! This still being a huge problem causing the death of many rogues! 8)

Not 100% on the undead part, but I had a rogue for a time and he wasn't able to just hide/sneak past every mob.

Wrong.

Rogue invis (Sneak/Hide) was Invis/IVU, always. I mained a rogue on live from Kunark to PoP. (In fact, I had three separate rogues as mains throughout this era). The mobs that could see through sneak/hide were only special high level See invis/See IVU mobs.

If Sneak/Hide was only seen by high level See Invis/See IVU NPCS there would have been no point for them to add the Alternate Ability Shroud of Stealth.

I am not sure how you reached that conclusion, since shroud of stealth was precisely for the reason I just mentioned.

Here is the definition for the AA Shroud of Stealth:

"This ability provides a previously unheard of level of stealth. The Rogue is able to draw shadows about himself so completely, even creatures that are normally not fooled by such trickery are frequently unable to see him. You may train in this ability upon reaching level 63."

This is not "Now you will be also have IVU with Sneak/Hide." Sneak/Hide always was IVU+Invis. I had over a year in days of played time on rogues, I remember it quite clearly, and this Shroud of Stealth only proves my point.

I'm not saying that Sneak/Hide did not give Ivu before Shroud of Stealth.

The point I am trying to make here is that BEFORE Shroud of Stealth was implemented any NPC that had See Invisible/See Ivu could see a Rogue with Sneak/Hide active.

Sneak/Hide only worked as a regular Invis/Ivu spell, nothing more.

True, See invis/See IVU mobs (like the Bats in Guk/Sol) you had to sneak behind. However, my reply was to the suggestion that it was not even an IVU and that it was merely normal Invis outside of being behind mobs--that is wrong.
