So I run EQ via Wine in Ubuntu. Getting it set up, I installed a default install of Wine, then installed/copy&pasted my EQ folder into that wine install's C: drive. Then I edited the eqclient.ini per Cadoz' instructions from the running EQ under Linux. I believe you're update has managed to mess up your wine install somehow. I suggest creating a new (or delete the old and install a fresh) default wine install. Once wine is up, reinstall or move your EQ directory back into the fresh wine install. Then edit the eqclient.ini file and try logging in again (on top of any "getting started" steps that are required). I believe this is a Wine/Mac issue, not an EQ issue.
