Thread necro. Have the same issue... Ping jumps to 5k, unable to do anything at all once zoning into TT. Took me 4 tries to zone back into EJ as I would go LD every time. Would say that connection is definitely the culprit, as I have a super dodgy connection (300-400 ping regularly). Assuming there's nothing I can do to fix this?

it has nothing to do with connection, i had zero problems in TT for the longest time, after it was patched so that frogs/raptors killed each other desyncing occurs frequently for ALL players. Some triggers that I have noticed for a desync are sending tells, checking who lists, and casting spells.

has nothing to do with your location or connection. again ill restate, i have a computer and a laptop on same connection. computer has no problems with TT, laptop however desyncs almost everytime.

Sam if you get time can you post detailed information about the differences between your two machines?

Every pc and laptop I own functions fine in TT.

sure thing, i reformated my pc recently and only have ubuntu on it so right now not possible. if someone could kindly pm me a torrent of win 7 without malware id really appreciate it. my comp actually came with OEM win 7 but for some reason the code on the side of the machine is already in use. never again will i buy a 300 dollar e-machine during black friday sell :(
