Epic pet was retardedly awesome. Not to mention you'd summon an orb, cast the pet, destroy the orb and summon another one with a charge on incase your pet died, so you could cast another mana-free straight away.

yap, and the first few weeks / months the pet summon was not 12 seconds either ... i cant remember the time anymore, if it was instant or 6 seconds ... but at the start of kunark this was insane for chain peting ;)
