You could do tank testing between a bard and a knight. Both plate classes and possible to increase AC to a similar level. Warriors are believed to have a natural bonus to mitigation so that would skew things (then again the knight might as well).

I’ve always believed it’s better to gear for overall purpose than a single one (ie collective tanking stats vs “dex/agil build”). With a general upgrade path amongst all the 2 expansions, the difference between two player characters comes down to availability of those items.

If you do str build, dex build, sta build, agi build you do get the benefit of doing 4 different warriors and having fun exploring different items each time. It is good for replayability if not effectiveness :D
