Nah. Someone that thinks Humans are the only real Paladins probably says so because they're the only Paladin race that can worship Mithaniel Marr (until Frogloks). Mithaniel Marr is really the only logical deity for a Paladin to be.

That said I'd never be a human paladin cause they're boring and armor looks uuuuuuuugggly.

it's from being introduced to the genre via D&D 2nd edition. a paladin is only what mithaniel marr dictates, and no other race is capable of the characteristics necessary of a paladin.

Not classic, so it's not in. The things you mentioned that are not classic but ARE in are things that are impossible or very hard to fix. Non-classic race/class combinations ARE possible to fix, so they have been fixed.

There are a lot of threads along these lines: "I know this isn't classic, but what if blah blah blah? I mean, the server has things like the UI compass and maps!" This is a classic server; it does its best to emulate the classic experience. The fact that it emulates this experience so well is the reason that most of us are here. That's kind of the end of the story.

Half-Elf paladins can worship Mith Marr.

Wouldn't mind pallys being defiled with this, but SKs got dignity.

That tin can they have for a helmet sucks, but once Velious armor is in, I could definitely see a Human paladin. That dragon helmet is awesome and Human Velious plate is spot-on. But I'd still have to make a Tunarian Elf, ND is one of the best sword graphics EVER, in ANY game I have played (IMO).

And get Robocop armor, which is really all that matters.

Dark Elves can be Clerics and Warriors, so Dark Elves should be able to be Paladins! :D
