I'm not totally familiar with the entire event either, but it may just be the mist because I just checked in north karana and found a rabid griffawn roaming, which is a mob associated with the plague. Also getting the "You feel dizzy." message every so often.

I seem to remember some kind of disease-based DOT effect is applied to you as soon as you zone into the karanas, too. Somebody other than me surely knows more.

So glad it's over, overall great time doing it successfully 7 times attempted probably 60 times. Greatest group effort ever. Anyone that did it with one of my toons knows I busted ass along side all and hours after. Grats on all plat made later. I've got 3 to offer at 175k ea. Before nerds ask stupid prices.
