If someone is willing to pay more than what the item is worth on the market, that's on the buyer for willingly highballing. Personally those are the people I think ruin the market, flooding it with plat and overpaying because they desperately want something that badly. They're the ones that drive prices up, because sellers realize people like that will pay.

50k for an 8 second cast that does around 300 dmg? What am I missing? In early EQ days, wasn't this just a fairly cheap item?

It's a free nuke that a Shaman can combine with their Poison/Disease DoT's and even their Epic clickie to kill things faster without increasing their downtime. Basically just makes them even more efficient than they already are.

No way in hell it's worth 50k, but it's still something that every non-Iksar Shaman wants in their toolkit eventually.

No one farms seb really anymore, even cobalt bracer sky rocketed in price

There are people farming all the time in seb, I've been in and out there for the past two weeks, crypt is usually camped and soloable with shammy or ench. Just because a zone is low pop doesn't mean all activity is gone. Fungi King is only cash camp that iss usually open.
