@ Messianic totally agree with you except that Nagash is a druid not a wizard. Since they don't get an AoE snare, waiting till you have 4 mobs before snaring doesn't work out too well for them.

It's better than snaring it in the middle of a field and having it bring back adds ;)

As a druid, if you have 4 unsnared mobs chasing you won't you end up with 3 beating on you by the time snare lands on the 1st? Just seems much more risky than snare pulling them.

at max cast range you have 3.5-4 seconds to cast snare before most mobs get in melee range. This is why I use dooming darkness/Engulfing darkness over the higher level snares on my necro. If I get a resist I can still recast without getting hit, impossible to do this with the slower casting snares.

With wolf form it shouldn't take too long to outrun most mobs, just run for a bit and try to cast. If you get the 'x is out of range' message, stop, turn, and start spamming your snare till you begin casting.

If I could get off my level 24 AoE (3.6 casting time) without getting hit when mobs were running full speed, you can get off ensnare (1.75 casting time) without getting hit ;)

From experience with multiple AoE snare resists, you could individually snare each of the mobs by running a medium-large sized circle as opposed to stringing them out in a straight line. That'll keep them from getting too far away and begin the process of getting them into a tight group.
