I don't think melee is a good choice, you have to constantly be moving / autoattacking and avoiding enrage / etc, they are definitely not AFK friendly.

surprised no one has brought up Wizard. Aside from mobilization, no one really pays attention to you as its just nuking / sitting.

Necros definitely come in 2nd, typically don't use a pet or charm in many situations and you can't LT most bosses now, so its mainly being a mana battery / DMFing.

rogues get zero tells per raid :o

AFK wizard is very noticeable. Delayed tells for translocates and they actually have to cast on the mobs.

Necro is #1

Can stay in the extended meeting without worrying if youre hide/sneeked :o

edit: although, a necro can FD inside of a wall, so maybe thats a point for the necro...

I'd say a Necro is probably the easiest to get away with the fewest button presses and actually contribute. Mages would be right up there if it weren't for all the 'pel sticks and Mod Rods they need to litter the ground with.

If you just plan on AFKing the entire time and leeching, however... it's very easy to spot an AFK Necro when their pet sits there doing jack all the entire raid.
