Too bad chaining pets is broke on Green.

It's the same on Blue,

Socials page?

Guesty07 04-30-2020 03:56 AM

Using the social page 100% works, but there are issues with pet not grabbing agro immediately like it used to in live (provided you did not cast any spell on the mob during the fight)

Castle2.0 04-30-2020 10:47 AM

Re-summoning a pet mid-fight can be done on Green no problem. As Guesty07 points out, the problem is aggro.

On Green, re-summoned Mage pet does not get immediate aggro upon engaging the mob, even if the mage has done 0 damage and cast 0 spells on the mob.

Outdoors you can do some /pet back off /pet guard /pet attack antics as you run circles with jboots for pet to get in a few rounds and grab aggro. In dungeons, you simply can't do it without some additional help. I used root nets, but even that was dicey when they were insta-cast.

I agree with OP also, mod rod has a pretty decent ratio believe it or not u can drop it on ground and hand to basically any char and get lvl 20 asap without much effort, mages are much like druids, just nice to have around 24/7 to help out with gleaming bags and toys

this is solved by not being a loner and having two mage pets or another class with root available, like a cleric or even just a warrior that can taunt like 1 second... lol

this is EQ lol.

with a population of 1200 i am pretty sure you can find one other person to m8 with who can poopsock during your hours and around your afks and critical pizza munchns

(unless u r me who is deliberate and calculated in their antipathy)
