Your share of the split depends on total exp from level 1 for that character. Whoever has more total exp takes a bigger cut.

My understanding was there was no exp bonus on Blue or Green for additional group members. I guess I'm wrong?

From reading a few forum posts and from my own experience, it's such a negligible gain as to be almost entirely discounted.

Evidently in the 2003 era, EQ upped this bonus by a decent amount to make grouping with additional people much more attractive, but that era is outside the scope of P99.
