Literal what the fuck moment at people spending 50 hours on this.

Roll a bard and you'll never need to camp a manastone or guise.

I literally been thinking this the whole time, how lucky I am to be wanting to play Bard and Enchanter this time around LOL. All a Manastone would do on ENC is get me killed a lot.

I would agree with you for any item outside of /list. But if a /list option is created and you are forced to stay at the desk because of afk checks then it is not so much people obsessed over a certain loot to the point that it seems to ruin their experience.

It is a system that makes getting that item into an unhealthy choice. Without list I could duo them and cycle resting with a friend. I could do it as a guild and put in the hours to get my turn. I could wait in line and sleep while person 1-5 get theirs and do some work from home. There are a lot of ways to go about it. But this system doesn't allow that. You are forced to be there. And you have to actively be there to click the afk check even if you are no where close to being your turn. You can't move outside the camp without losing your spot.

The /list worked for the jboots. Still a grueling 11-25 hour camp that not everyone is going to be willing to do.

But if manastones are forcing people to actively be at their computer for over 30 hours, then it is crossing a dangerous line. The sunken cost fallacy and sleep deprivation each by themselves are dangerous for people but you combine them together and you get really poor choices being made.

Something needs to change for it. Either allow each afk check to add dkp and after a certain point you get it, or people with the most afk checks clicked to go to the front of the line, or increase the spawn, or increase the drop rate. Or take it off the /list and let us manage it ourselves. Or remove it.

You'd have to be a sick fuck or have crippling RL problems to camp one at this point

Actually, yes, you're right.

Just make a guild toon, level it to 35, then offer tracking dkp to list for the manastone, then dkp bid the manastones you get.

its too bad for me I dont evne play DRU/CLR and need one, but its obviously not too bad for you evident by the fact you are doing it :p

Most of you are bad at logic. The spawn doesn't have classic drop rates.

Do I want a manastone? Yes. Am I willing to spend more than 8 consecutive hours trying to get one? Absolutely not.

That people are literally spending 50+ hours online at their computer trying to get a manastone is blowing my mind. Having seen what the raid scene was like on Blue for years and years, this shouldn't surprise me. But it does. Please don't hurt yourselves in pursuit of this item.

29 hours and 50 min - it dropped.

See Gents just had to complain on forums to make it happen.

Statistically someone is going to get hurt due to the situation created by /list at this camp.

#2 on list has been in camp for over 34 hours - lets see how long his takes. - Rooting for you Alport

I think someone else nailed it on the head. It's all teams of friends using Team Viewer to camp manastones in shifts.

And mentally ill people who are likely going to have a heart attack, because they aren't 20 years old anylonger.
