If the lighting can be used to emulate darkness.. can it please be used to also emulate classic brightness.

Or was it this neon white during classic?

We're all thankful for the effort, but yeah, the recent DX developments are still a bit beta, which is perfectly normal, especially considering Blank & Co are hacking a 2004 binary with no source code available.

Making the DX hacks optional until they are stable would make total sense.

Things being optional until they're stable isn't Classic.

Velious doesn’t exist on Green so just roll with it for a minute beta server.

Yeah unfortunately that doesn't do the trick, for many of us.

In Everfrost its to the point where if 3 or more players have a lantern you can't tell whats an incline or a decline, or a wall. Just pure blinding brightness.

This still looks like crap in zones with snow or zones with bright lighting and white off/white walls, like Felwithe. I'm very much looking forward to the game being returned to its classic zone appearance.

bump.

The game is unplayable for me whenever there's more than a handful of people around.

I can't join my friends in befallen, because when I zone in my FPS immediately plummets to like 5.
