More people playing a beta server that they know will be wiped in a week than have been on red in years. Ouch.

Green is gonna be major poppin. I can't wait to waste my time there as well.

I'm surprised that Beta hasn't pulled larger numbers. From casual inspection over the last week or so, the total numbers for Beta and Blue indicated Beta simply cannibalizes Blue's typical population. I don't think that's indicative of anything: just what I noticed.

The relevance of blue has reached its end. Looking at the most recent announcement, a merge of green into blue at the end of green's timeline goals is up in the air. You absolutely know that this translates into "we'll do what's best for the community" and if the majority of the community is on green and cackling with delight at giving blue raiding grognards the middle finger, then that's what's going to happen.

I'll be happy to dig this up close to 4 years from now when Blue's a ghost town.

I wonder why they've stepped back from the original merger plan. It seemed straightforward and logical. What would you speculate changed their minds?

haha I know nobody here has any balls and its been that way for years. p1999 is just for girls.

People logged in, created an Enchanter, got them to level 8 in 15 minutes, then they realized they were going to have stab another 300 decaying skeletons with their starting dagger just to afford some spells, then they logged off. I would see this all day in Nek, 10 enchanters, 6 necros, 2 mages and gone and replaced by another crew the next day.
