I've been hanging out near Paw. (Just hit 38). Always high levels looking for scrolls, can sell to Aviaks or Centaurs.

Runnyeye has a bank and merchants, but everything but the named is greened out.

I'm up for any of those destinations. Nurga could be really cool. It's fairly easy to split, but you need to be able to invis or get a port out.
