For my troll shaman and human monk I just hunted OT starting in the 30s and got the faction while leveling. 2 birds one stone and the quest xp was good. I finished the hammer faction for both long before I out-leveled the zone

If you’re already at the point that you can’t level on the mobs ... well I’d rather castrate myself with a spoon than farm greens for faction. You could earn the 2k for the price several times over faster.

Learn the spawns you can run laps picking up 4-8 per lap

Better to pay for the hammer MQ at 51. It'll take you many hours in which you could make >>> 2k

Get a necro to /duel and hit you with ignite bones you then have 18 seconds to turn in the jade before you lose your faction

Worth it for me at L37, easy peasy camping the 2 spawns close to the
Outpost. I was L41 when I finished (troll shaman). At L51 you can make 2kpp in a handful of hours soloing trash for exp, so not worth hunting braids then.

Bards can just charm the foreman for their hammer, no faction required.

That is good to know! He is level 50 though, so I guess I'll need to wait a few more levels unless he is able to be charmed at 36.

This wont work, you need amiable for turn-in. Skeleton illusion will only take you to dubious if you're a goodly race.

Just spend the 2k, its not worth the hassle.
