Only ones I care about is Bedlam and Rune 5...and that order always matters.

100% this. I used to obsess over buff order but now it's pointless.

Dispel isn't as random as you guys are making it sound, at least in my experience and according to Haynar. A buff in slot 15 is still far less likely to get dispelled than a buff in slot 1.

I cast 4 low level (under lvl 20) buffs on myself, and then cast Cancel magic on myself 10 times, recasting whatever buff got dispelled after each Cancel Magic. Slot 3 or 4 never got dispelled.

5 - Slot 1

7 - Slot 1

9 - Slot 1
10 - Slot 2

I know how it works. There is a hidden number rolled when you apply buffs that determine whether a dispel will work on that buff or skip it. Thats why its random, that number is hidden and thusly the interaction will 'appear' random to the player when you get a buff from slot 10 dispelled and nothing above it touched.
