For some reason I had created another account back in the day, and thought it was the one with characters on it. When I checked the other username, I found my characters. Thanks a lot, and I'll delete this thread in a few moments.
I did the same thing awhile back. If you use the same password for both accounts it's surprisingly easy to do.
