It's been well established that nbg is actually the greedy system in pugs. It's hard for nerds to grasp that.

Sounds like the group cucked you out of a roll. If you're with 5 strangers it should always be greed on anything over 500plat. If something can vendor for 400plat (like kunark class pieces) then that should also be rolled on. Gems go alpha, fire opals dont count and go to clerics for peridots. End of story.

I just dont understand how 10,000 in gear is worth more to one indefinitely than it is to the 6+ responsible for it in the first place.
