Duo charm with another necro. Fastest exp I found leveling up. Doesn't matter where.

This isn't what you were asking for, but the previous posters covered that.

What level would you recommend starting charming for exp as a necro? I twinked a necro the other day and at levels 20-25 found it to be subpar exp to charm. Dominate Undead costs 100 mana and it takes way too long to regen that mana back up even with Allure of Death to warrant for good exp rate.

I hear people saying you can start charming for exp as soon as you get the first charm spell, which is true, you CAN do it. But when does it become the best exp option?

lower guk dead side. plenty of undead which is a necros strong point. plenty of item drops all over the zone, respawn of 28.5min. other than that is howling stones though the big items dont really drop until south and you are not at the point to do south yet. There are some items in the other wings but not usually worth the effort solo.

The first time I personally realized the charming exp was superior was in the late 30s on my necro (who's now in the late 40s regardless of my signature). Kaesora church area was godly exp once I got the pulls down.

Prior to that, I guess if someone is feeling ballsy then Castle Mistmoore might be doable at night. I'm sure Unrest has spots but that place and CM both are overcamped so I didn't really see the potential until Kaesora.

I think there's also a spot in FoB with some mobs you can charm in the 30s. Never explored it myself.

Also, I hadn't tried much of Guk but the couple times I did that ghoul root was a super huge PITA. It's manageable with a disenchant and all that but i just remember between that and the caster mobs it was more effort than it needed to be (but I also may have been too low).

Kaesora library is also really good xp as well.
I soloed there higher end of my 30's there on my enchanter.
And if you're really brave, you can go in there actual library for a chance at a named with some cool-ish items.

Can a necro solo Tserrina?

Axoc 11-01-2016 03:49 AM

What level are Felwithe guards? I know that it's "not worth" going there until 51 because of Splurt, but I also know that by the time you get there they are allegedly a mix of light and dark blues. When are they white?

Depends. At what level does her charm spell cap? 51? Does it even cap?

I started Felwithe guards at 49, but I fear kited until I got splurt. I'd go into the "back" zone (Felwithe B?) with the caster guilds. You can fear kite in the open area right near the entrance. Necros get a really nice boost at 49 with the new pet, darkness, blood, and bond of death spells, and you can mow the guards down fairly well. Keep them feared though because they will heal/lay hands themselves.

Once you get splurt then root rotting works just fine in either Felwithe zone.
