I would be ok with going to Luclin and not beyond; but only if they got rid of the nexus scions.

did they resurect all the old art puting actual work into the server? then no.

Thanks rog ad nil and everyone else who actually WORKED to make a classic experience possible.

This isint supposed to be a classic server ya tard. It's a progression server.

The classic art on P99 is appreciated. I wouldn't go so far as to say P99 actually replicates a classic experience though, rather just a recreation of classic mechanics. For me, a classic experience isn't possible to recreate. Instead I'm just looking for enjoyable classic content. I like some of what the new progression server offers, so I'll be trying it. I don't plan to play much past PoP, but that should last me 18 months at least and then there will be something new to try anyways.

Ill be trying this out. I doubt I'll stay for long but I talked my brother into making a character with me so we'll see what happens.

I am making a ranger and he wants to do a wizard. not exactly an ideal duo setup but whatever, we'll make it work.

I initially hated the idea of starting over, but I might make a char and see how it goes.

Can maybe play that while "raiding" here on P99 - IE sitting camped out in ToV for hours playing some other game waiting for someone to scream in vent POP POP POP POP

If I wanted to play a modern MMO I'd be on WoW. I'm on p99 for few very specific reasons, and convenience, experience bonuses, and bots are not among them :)

Yes, 1 client per pc is my understanding. On live i used to box a cleric/warrior combo with the two pc's in different rooms. I would literally get up and run to the cleric box for a CH. as long as the group knew and understood to not pull aggro too fast it all worked out great. Eventually i got the pc's nearer to each other lol.

lol, I did the exact same thing. Then I bought a 40 foot extension for the keyboard the cleric was attached to.

Sounds terrible and disgusting.

An insult to the things which make EQ great.

Swish 12-09-2015 06:38 AM

low timesink, instances, cash shop, etc = EQ Lite

Also I wonder with the older progression servers if everyone will just jump ship after GoD or whatever...embarrassing if they shut down or merge a server because nobody is playing after that many expansions :o
