Yeeeeep. Anything to the contrary would suggest that people don't do radical faction changes in EQ to complete quests. Oh wait.

I've had 3-4 monks contact me in-game about the Treant Fists but none of them have said if they were able to complete the quest or not. Can someone chime in so I don't have to port over with those shitty cat bones for a third time?

I beleive it was a classic item, but it is also consitered to be plate (which was Verant's reasoning on why Iksar could not wear).

Beej messaged me today saying he turned in the coin and did not receive a box.

I have seen monks WEARING the TREANT FISTS GLOVES on the HAND SLOT.

This quest worked at one time and now it's not. All of the mobs that are related to this quest are spawning and dropping their items, the only cockblock here is the quest NPC isn't giving out the container needed to combine the items in.

This is the equivalent of the Paw of Opolla rings dropping but not being able to get the container to combine them in.

So i got the token, then I went to banished kerran.

I handed in the token, banished kerran says ""Ashen Order!! Prrr.. My order. I have been expecting one of us. Prrr.. Help me rejoin my native land. Return the [remains of Thipt] to me. This shall aid me in my redemption."

I say... "what remains of thipt"

He gives me the box. What is the problem here?

When I give him the token, he says the line about Ashen Order, but when I ask him about Thipt he doesn't respond.

Also according to the allakhazam write up, he's supposed to give you the box when you give him the token, not upon a keyphrase. And the banished kerran is supposed to respond to "puab sent me" but he doesn't respond to that either.

What's the banished kerran con to you? For me he's indifferent, and he's supposed to be on Beta Neutral faction.

I just tried this on the server, it works fine. "what remains of thipt" After the patch, however, he will give you the box upon turning in the token.
