Greenmist was broken in Kunark and most of Velious. It was fixed and discovered 11-5-01. The +bane damage was added in anticipation of Luclin, and no one really knows if those were the original stats on it.

Also since the SoL isnt implemented on this server they could put Greenmist in with bane damage and it still wont matter.
