Why remove spell timers?

ezri 08-09-2015 04:26 AM

Again with the Kunark Title Screen

What I'd like to see is...
  • Rogean: Changed out the Kunark Load Screen for Velious Load Screen.

Dat shit just ain't classic
It's actually a good thing- some people get complacent and forget to buff, now they'll have to pay attention - I use a looping stopwatch timer on my desk for buffs, same for mob respawns it just makes things go more smoothly.

This patch is going to quadruple the number of people using text triggers. Seems counter-productive to remove buff timers as its only hurting the casual players who wouldnt bother setting up text triggers.

Don't understand this line of thinking. Anything that can be classic will be classic, it's what this server is all about.

brutal

I understand that this is supposed to emulate classic EQ, but after 5 years of having spell timers, it just seems punishing to remove them. Why didn't you make this change years ago? Why now?
