live was a lot more interesting to me because i didnt know wtf i was doing.. i remember making the journey from Qeynos to oasis.. was one of the most awesome things ive ever done in a video game till this day.. was a looong ass, dangerous run that really felt epic and meaningful.. man good times

I had a lot of fun leveling up and meeting people, there a lot of people who are willing to help you out. It's fortunate that there are a lot of casual players, normally on these emulator servers you just have a ton of people who get to max level and quit. *bait* The community on this server is pretty gnarly, just don't get to level 50 and you'll have plenty of fun. ;)

(ProjectEQ, circa 2003 -- you could even grab their old databases, go through the changelog and update the database to current schema, and have a decent classic server)

Angelox's database isn't too shabby, either but it goes further than Velious :(
