I have had a run in myself with Uthgaard where I was banned for KSing people.

I felt I was justified, he did not and it took a lot of dick sucking to get out. When I was unbanned I realised it is easier to just walk away - Uthgaard style is EXACTLY what we need.

All we need is a guild vs guild PNP forced LNS as I mentioned in the OP - and a GM to be harsh with common sense.

He banned me after 6 months clean whistle record, with me helpin test red99 coding, just for saying that cherry picking who gets to keep rule breaking names gave a corrupt cop flavor to GMing.

We dont need these kind of idiots with GM powers again

Sirken needs to set the precedent that if you don't want ot be on the new server, and your only purpose is to burn it down you aren't welcome - which is really how common sense operates.

But where do you draw the line at when a GM must step in and arbitrarily decide that youve camped player X long enough? Maybe he camped him twice as much in the past, is the GM going to research all that shit before pressing that ban button?

Thats why FFA with no xp loss is the best ruleset, youre never going to get around griefers, the most you can do is minimize their impact. Devs failed to implement measures that would minimize griefing because apparently they thought poop camp mechanics were more important. Giving GMs a massive loadwork of sorting out whats real grief or not is a recipe for disaster.

Now theyre going to cluelessly make a new server thats got even more grief potential, with one winning team like nihilum hardcoded in.

I understand, if you think teams is a design to fix the end game - you'll see this as a stupid idea.

Server repops might be a way around variance - we'll see, it's an idea.

good luck trying to change the community here bro. only ppl still willing to play these pvp boxes are the worst offenders in regards to taking enjoyment from griefing others, even on a 100 pop box that needs every person it can get. we will never find the community balance that made these servers work bc lets face it, a lot of blue players back in the day rolled on pvp not knowing what they were getting into. and they banded together for the sake of enjoying the game.

now it's all lol hit max lvl asap, know all tactics every item drop max lewt GRIEF GRIEF GRIEF. nihilum had the chance to set the standard when they came out on top, and instead, they turned into the very guilds that they defeated. doubt it'll change on a new box pals.

FACT: High end pvp has degraded into who has the most clicks, all Nihilum does is golem/conflag/blazing/ice wand or trak tooth me to death every single fight. If I get them low they soulfire charge or gate pot away.

Until those mechanics are nerfed this server will remain a joke and any new server will face the same issue as they'll farm dead red99 and role over with entire guildbanks filled with golem wands and gate pots, and start the hack fest all over again.
