Take it from some of the actual wizzies in this thread. going 25int 5stam is the way to go.

To be totally honest putting those 5 points into str instead wont exactly kill you. Just make sure you have the 25 into int and you'll be fine. Could put them into CHA and you wont be breaking your character.

Your biggest problem is not choosing a gnome. For shame.

Backin up Int primary / Str secondary as the way to go

My enc is perpetually encumbered at 65 str, wearing nothing but cloth, carrying nothing of weight value (tiny daggers, gems for rune, my OT hammer being the one exception) with eight bags. Definately sink those extra points into str, the stamina just isn't worth it.

After you get 8 tink bags, the sta will serve you better.

from lvl 1 to 8 tink bags can be a very, very long time for some people. 25int/5str all the way.

The number of times that having like 20 hpts more would have saved you as a wizard is far fewer than the number of times you will be within 5 weight of being encumbered.

+dex for the f'ing port hammer

Faster than you'd think. Wizards aren't as gear dependant as other classes and there will be a day when 42k for 8 tink bags isn't unfathomable. With the soft cap of 200 on int, there's plenty of room to substitute in a piece of gear for a little extra str if you really wanted it and there's pieces with str and int combined, like the sapphire platinum necklace and golden bracer. That's +14 str right there without adding a ton of weight or losing an int slot.

5 sta doesn't sound like a lot, but there have been many occasions in this game where life and death and a lengthy corpse run came down to the last few HP.
